Virtual collaboration - new ways of working gives new opportunities

The new way of working during the COVID-19 pandemic has also pushed the boundaries for how we work in Equipment & Machinery at DIS/CREADIS. Now it is normal to conduct sales meetings, reviews and project meetings using online platforms and virtual collaboration.  

                                     

At the moment, we are in process with three robotic lines where all communication with the customer has been virtual. Latest DIS/CREADIS successfully conducted a 100 percent virtual Factory Acceptance Test, FAT, of one of the robotic lines for one of our international customers where the participants joined from USA, UK, Germany, Denmark and Poland.

 

By use of smart glasses, the machine was operated by our workshop crew in Krakow, and the rest of the FAT team could follow all movements and actions via a virtual connection.

 

Now only the installation and commissioning are pending which do still require physical attendance.
